Selina Fenech. She was born in 1981 to Australian and Maltese parents. Born on the night of a full moon they called her Selina, which means "Moon". She now lives with her family near Sydney in Australia.

As a child she enjoyed reading stories of myth, and magic, and was particularly influenced by the illustrations in these books. She spent many years learning how to produce these types of images, and developed her own unique style with its great attention to detail.

By the age of 23 she was earning her living from her fantasy art. Her reputation has grown steadily, and she is now recognised worldwide as one of the leading lights in this field. Her work is easily identified by the superb attention to detail, and her clever use of colour.
